The Pennsylvania Super Six Lotto 6-of-69
The first drawing of the Pennsylvania Super 6 Lotto 6/69 occurred Saturday, September 12, 1998.
Drawings are held twice a week on Tuesday and Friday evenings.
Prior to 06-08-2002 drawings were held on Wednesday and Saturday.
Deadline for on-line orders through I.M.I. is 2:00p.m. (ET) Tuesday and Friday.
Players win for matching 3, 4, 5 or all six numbers (Jackpot). This creates overall odds of about 1 in 48 for winning one of the four prizes. The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 39.9 million.
All prizes (except 3/6) are pari-mutuel, that is they depend on the number of dollars wagered and the number of winners for each category. The minimum jackpot is estimated at $3 million. See prize structure for more details and odds. The jackpot is paid as a 26 year annuity or as cash prize (approximately 50% of the estimated jackpot, less taxes). Winning tickets are valid for 360 days.
52% of the cost of each ticket go into the prize pool.
